Cottage:
Rooms:
The cottage has 2 rooms – one with queen size bed and second with 2 single beds. – All the beds of course have cotton percale bedding and towels.
General:
The living room with its high beam ceiling and mohair Sofas are arranged near the fireplace and compliments the Relax atmosphere of the cottage and its spacious natural surroundings. The Kitchen has all the appliances needed to make you feel at home with a gas operated oven, Fridge with small freeze compartment.
Outside:
Romantic Lanterns to be used either at the diner table, swimming pool at night or outside dining area at the fireplace and under the stars to compliment the tranquillity and warmness of the cottage. The Cottage is Environmental friendly due to appliances working with sun panels to provide electricity to fluorescent lights and Both the Kitchen and bathrooms hot water, stove and fridge freezer is gas operated. The cottage is covered under eucalyptus trees to allow it to still be cool during hot summer months. The terrace overlooks the valley and with its hammocks positioned in trees is ideal spot for your afternoon siestas with panoramic views over valley - The cottage also provides the perfect spot for sundowners and to light up a braai. On the other side of the valley the Oliphants Mountains seems weightless in the haze.
Other visitors to the indigenous Fynbos and succulent rock garden include…….butterflies birds like - francolins, sugarbirds, barn owls, veroux Eagle, falcons and dragon flies.
The Plunge pool with Pool lounger compliments the laid back relax feeling of the farm cottage. The outdoor bamboo hot shower also compliments the natural feeling that the cottage creates. Cool of in the pool or stretch out on a lounger/Hammock – choice is yours.
Bathroom:
The Bathroom has an inside bath and toilet with hot outside Bamboo shower for the naturalist and more adventurous.
Ground Coffee and Rooibos tea is provided in the cottage.
